Steven E. Tom was raised in New York City and received his B.S. from Cornell University in 2001. He is a graduate of the William S. Richardson School of Law, University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa, receiving his J.D. and Environmental Law Certificate in 2008. Mr. Tom was admitted to the Hawai‘i bar in 2008. He served as a law clerk to the Honorable Karen Ahn in the Circuit Court of the State of Hawai‘i from 2008-2009. He previously worked for a Honolulu law firm defending various clients in construction defect, medical malpractice, personal injury, professional liability, and other civil litigation matters. He currently practices in the areas of litigation, alternative dispute resolution, and administrative proceedings. Steven frequently represents both plaintiffs and defendants in commercial, real estate, and construction disputes.
